The Hope is in the Science

Welcome to My Personal Page

Family & Friends

This is the 6th year that Team Zubrod Zoo has been helping the Packard Center raise money for research and I feel it is important not only to tell my mother's story, but show just how fast this illness can takeover a persons life.

This is an incurable illness but hopefully one day, through ongoing research, they will find a cure. My mother was diagnosed with late stage ALS in October 2013 and was treated by the Hopkins ALS Clinic. The Robert Packard ALS Center continues to make great strides in research and possible genetic connections for this disease. Unfortunately my mother passed away October 31st, 2014, 1 year from the diagnosis however, we were able to enjoy as much time with her in that last year as we could and plan for her quality of life. She was so very excited after the first ALS run we did in 2014 that it has now become a very sentimental wonderful cause to support.

Please come out & support this cause by joining my team or just signing up yourself. Whether you run, walk, donate or just come out to cheer, your efforts are much appreciated!

I thank you for considering and so does Kay!

Sincerest Appreciation,

Angel Zubrod Streeks
